Bloomberg Agency revealed that “Tesla” and “BYD” achieved record sales in the second quarter of this year, confirming the two companies’ position in the market as the two best-selling electric car manufacturers in the world. Elon Musks Tesla recorded record sales of 466,140 cars worldwide, beating Wall Street estimates. BYD, Chinas best-selling auto brand, achieved its best quarterly sales result ever with 700,244 new energy vehicles, split evenly between pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids.
