King Abdullah Port achieved a new achievement during the first half of 2023, recording a new increase in container handling by 2.3 percent, and 98 percent in agricultural bulk cargo compared to the same period last year.

King Abdullah Port was ranked as the best port in the world in terms of operational port efficiency, according to the World Bank report on the global container port performance index for the year 2022. It is the first port in the Kingdom to be managed and developed by the private sector.
