Al-Buhaira Governorate announced a project to establish the first commercial area in Damanhour, with investments amounting to 10 billion pounds, and providing 25,000 job opportunities for young people.

The commercial area in Beheira, located on the "Cairo-Alexandria Agricultural Road" near the entrance to the city of Damanhour with an area of 96 acres, includes commercial markets, several restaurants, and open markets for agencies and service centers.

The new project also includes a hotel, sports stadiums, restrooms, closed and open shopping centers, sales outlets for factory products, exhibition spaces, a hypermarket with international specifications, and service activities that include closed and open storage yards, refrigeration and freezing stores, sorting, packaging and packaging activities, activities for wholesale and half-wholesale trade, commodity exchanges, and living and recreational supplies for its employees.
